The Virtual Consultation is a focused, one-on-one design session with Jonathan Rosen conducted via video. This service is ideal for clients who want expert direction on a specific room, layout challenge, styling issue, or overall design plan — without committing to an in-person project.
What it is:
A strategic, real-time design consultation tailored to your space and goals.
How it works:
Prior to your session, you will submit photos and basic information about your room. During the consultation, Jonathan will review your space with you live, assess layout and furnishings, identify what is working and what is not, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
This may include:
Furniture placement and layout adjustments
Editing and reworking existing pieces
Styling guidance for shelves, artwork, and tabletops
Suggestions for key additions that will have the greatest impact
What you can expect:
You will leave the session with a defined plan, practical next steps for a full room redesign based on what the client already owns, and the confidence to implement changes immediately along with custom follow-up with designer’s notes.

The process begins with an assessment of your space and furnishings. Together, we create a clear game plan. On the scheduled day, Jonathan and his installation team rework your home reimagining layout, editing excess, refining placement, and introducing select pieces when necessary.
Using primarily what you already own, your rooms are taken apart and thoughtfully reassembled.
You step out for the day.
You return to a home that feels familiar, yet entirely transformed.

We reorganize and restyle your existing furnishings to improve flow, balance, and visual impact. When needed, we introduce a small number of carefully selected additions always with your approval.

Clients who are not based in the New York tri-state area that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain how to masterfully pull a space together benefit greatly from this focused, strategic guidance.

Each project begins with a consultation to understand your goals, evaluate your space, and establish a clear direction before the makeover day.

You send me pictures, a video and overall measurements of the room you want to work on and I will review all materials and come up with a floor plan and decorative game plan.
I’ll need an hour in advance for my review and about an hour with you online to disseminate the information. You can either arrange to make the changes in real time by bringing on some assistants (preferably, as we can both see how things are coming together) or you can make these changes in your own time.

The Refind One Day Makeover is offered at a flat rate with deposit required. Any additional items such as rugs, upholstery, or window treatments are billed separately and only with client approval.
